Updated March 2023:

I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to those that recently donated to my CEO Walk in My Shoes experience for Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to share my experience with you through this short video.

As a group, comprising myself and 7 other CEOs, we raised a total of $47,127, providing families with 294 nights support at Ronald McDonald House.

If you haven’t already, you can still contribute to the cause here.

I highly recommend this humbling experience and if you would like to get involved and participate in the next CEO Walk in My Shoes (7 & 8 September 2023), please follow this link.

Kind regards,

George Saab

Feb 24, 2023 Post

I am joining a small group of fellow CEOs in experiencing a day in the life of a family who stays at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney.

Thank you to those who have already generously donated.

There is just one week to go!

My goal is to raise over $8,000 which will provide 50 nights in a warm and supportive home-away-from-home for families of children travelling to the House for treatment.

If it were your child or a loved one's child wouldn't you want to know that they had this level of support?

If you haven't already, I am kindly asking if you could support this very worthy cause by donating here.

Why am I doing this?

Imagine that you have just received the worst news possible – your child is seriously ill and you need to relocate your family in order to receive the lifesaving treatment that your child needs.

You would drop everything right? But what does that actually mean?

The families that stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities are away from their home, their support system and everything they know. The House provides them with support to ensure they can concentrate on what is most important, their sick child and family.

These are just a few things Ronald McDonald House Charities provide to families:

  • A House that is open 365 days a year, to ensure families have a place to stay at no charge.
  • Support sick kids and their families through various programs.
  • Make sure families have a home cooked meal and most importantly.
  • Continue keeping families together during this difficult time.

Kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it!

I am asking you to support me in helping Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney continue providing a warm and supportive home-away-from-home for families of children travelling to the House for treatment.

How will I be participating?

I will experience a 24-hour overnight immersive experience at a Ronald McDonald House, and will be:

  • Cooking and serving dinner and breakfast to families;
  • Be guided through real life scenarios, gaining a better understanding of what families go through;
  • Use my skills and knowledge together with other participants to tackle a business issue;
  • Gain a unique insight on what it takes to run the House and create a true sense of empathy for the families that stay in a Ronald McDonald House.

I am kindly asking if you could support this very worthy cause by donating here.

Thank you for your support.

I look forward to sharing my experience with you soon.

Kind regards,

George Saab
