We are a well-resourced, tech focused full-service accounting practice that lives by working smarter not harder. We work hard to ensure our clients meet all the necessary deadlines, but we also play hard to celebrate our achievements along the way.
We live by the belief that the future of the modern accounting practice is advisory. Whilst most of the work we do stems from taxation and compliance, we like to focus on providing value-adding advice to our clients: from entity structuring to tax planning, asset protection, estate planning, loan structuring, software advice and implementation.
Here is our app stack as it stands today. Some of these apps we have used for well over a decade, others are still being implemented. We are constantly reviewing the way in which we work to ensure our team can work effectively and efficiently.
Our administration and business services teams (support staff) are very capable and do many of the tasks which are usually attributed to a junior accountant - from organising payment plans with the ATO to establishing trusts and companies and even processing monthly payroll tax returns.
We believe in transparency. From week one, all team members know our year-to-date sales figures so that we can collaboratively work towards our monthly and annual fee targets. These targets (which are tied to bonuses) are set firm wide. We believe in having a common goal so the team can work together to achieve them. All team members are included in our monthly bonus pool: from managers to juniors and our administration team.
Some of our team members have been with us since they were undergraduates. They have developed so much personally and professionally in that time. We believe development is a key component to a successful career, hence we ensure our team is supported with leave and financial support to undergo further training and development. We also hold regular structured training with all our team to ensure everyone is kept up to date with any changes. On an annual basis all our team members undergo a formal review process to set goals for the next twelve months and this is followed by regular check-ins to track progress.
