Weel: Spend Management, Streamlined

September 15, 2023

One of our favourite apps at SaabTeece is Weel (previously DiviPay)!
It’s Weely good!

We get concerned when we hear that many businesses share a credit or debit card amongst their team:

  • Credit card kept in the work truck to pay for petrol and supplies.
  • Photocopy of credit card in everyone’s desk drawer to make online purchases.

Not only is this risky, but how long do you spend chasing your team for:

  1. Tax Invoices (assuming they got one)?
  2. Who made the purchase?
  3. What was purchased?

Weel solves all of this! It automatically reconciles in Xero (or MYOB & QBO) just like any of your bank accounts with data feeds!

Weel solved a number of pain points for SaabTeece:

  • No more petty cash! Hallelujah! No cash tin or painful spreadsheet reconciling at end of month, let alone finding a bank or ATM to get cash out!
  • Quick and easy reimbursements to team members, as required.
  • Anyone in our team that needs to pay for expenses; does so using their own virtual card.
  • BPay payments can be submitted for approval by any team member.
  • Each of our subscriptions (eg. software subs) can be set up with their own budget. Direct debits are blocked above this set limit.

Quick & Easy

It takes under 1 minute to issue a team member with a Weel virtual card, which they then add to their smart phone to pay online or instore. You can set up budgets based on team, project or type of expense. The best part is your team member will continue to get notifications on their phone until they upload the tax invoice and provide a description of what they purchased! Chasing done for you.

If your team shop at Kmart, Mitre 10 or Chemist Warehouse (and many more) – these tax invoices will automatically appear in Weel, thanks to digital receipt integration through
Slyp.

Weel in action

Keen to see it in action? Check out this 3 minute Introduction Video or just ask any of our team how they use the app and virtual card next time you’re in the office!
