As a sole trader, we wanted to make sure you are aware of the toll relief rebate available in NSW.

Sole traders with personal and/or business toll accounts in NSW can claim a 40% rebate if they spend over $402 per toll account in the 2023-24 financial year. The rebate amount varies based on the type of toll account. You can claim once a quarter for each linked account, with a one-year claim period after the financial year ends.

To claim, link your toll accounts to your MyService NSW Account and ensure your contact and vehicle details are up to date with your toll provider.

Eligibility requires:

  • NSW residency.
  • an active ABN registered in NSW for a business physically located and operating in NSW.
  • you not being a taxi or ridesharing business (eg. Uber, DiDi, Lyft, Ola).

As always, do not hesitate to contact us.
